Hi, I think my vodafone sim card has been disconnected as i havent topped up in a good while and I cant use the number connected to the sim card. The phone number was connected to many important social medias such as WhatsApp. Is it possible at all to recover my phone number and sim?

You probably need to speak to a customer services rep.  If you read the Terms & Conditions, it's in there that if you don't top up at least once in a 135-day period (notice at 90 days, 45 days final period) then you lose the right to keep that number.
